Rossport is a relaxed album with harmonic and rhythmic surprise touches, such as the Latin influenced title song. I also enjoyed Steve's harmonic voicings in his solo piano work. The Bach chorale harmonic concept on the last track is an often-overlooked approach to ballads, and one that I've always believed in.
