Anneliesa Barta, M.B.A.

Anneliesa Barta has more than a decade of experience ranging from marketing and advertising, project management, investment banking and communications in the fields of hospitality, architecture, home building and design.

After graduating from Fordham University (New York) with a B.S. in Psychology, Anneliesa worked in Mergers & Acquisitions for various private investment banks. As Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions for Heffernan & Company Inc., Anneliesa worked on a team that negotiated the purchase and sale of major corporations.

While serving as operating management for acquired companies, Anneliesa gained experience in project management, marketing and public relations. She developed marketing and advertising strategies, and collateral materials for acquired properties.

Anneliesa was graduated from Fordham University M.B.A. program in 1991.

In 1993 Anneliesa relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado and became a partner in Steve Barta Music, and Source Music Inc., independent record companies. Anneliesa's role in both companies is to formulate business strategy, create new product concepts and position the company in new market niches. She sets the company’s direction for all product marketing including art direction, packaging, direct mail and marketing materials. She is the recipient of 5 ADDY awards for Art Direction from the American Advertising Federation.

She serves on the Board of Directors for Cheyenne Commons, a group who saves quality open space land from development.
